Nursery Production
The nursery is divided into three main areas. Specimen
plants and trees are grown on groundcover and receive individual
drip irrigation. They are also given sufficient space to allow free growth to
optimise shape. General stock including hardy shrubs, perennials,
grasses and hedging are grown on pea
gravel covered with ground cover, to provide optimum drainage and weed control. Rain simulating
overhead irrigation is used to ensure as much water as possible goes to plants.
